ADT's new Executive Director - Shaun Comerford

Wednesday, October 21, 2015

We are proud to announce the appointment of Shaun Comerford as the company’s new Executive Director.

Shaun will be relocating to Adelaide from Sydney where he had previously been working as General Manager, Production for the Michael Cassel Group. Shaun has previous experience in the Arts, Events and Music industries including event production, relationship management, financial management, contracting, fundraising, legal compliance, marketing and public relations.

ADT Chairman Kim Boehm said that Shaun will be a great addition to the Arts community in Adelaide.

Shaun said he is excited to be moving to a company with such a strong international reputation.

“In some ways it’s daunting to be joining a company that has achieved so much and is so highly acclaimed internationally. I have enormous admiration for Artistic Director Garry Stewart and I can’t wait to work alongside him and the rest of the company,” he said.

“I’ve seen the plans the company has for the next few years and the program looks stunning – particularly the Adelaide events planned for 2016, starting with a season of the new work Habitus at the Adelaide Festival.”

ADT Operations Manager Paul Cowley has been Acting Executive Director since June while the company undertook a comprehensive recruitment process. The company is incredibly grateful for his commitment and hard work during this time.

The company gives a warm welcome to Shaun and are looking forward to an exciting program of events for 2016!
