The company were pleased to invite local independent artist and Artistic Director of The Mill Adelaide, Erin Fowler to the studios for a week-long residency to further develop her work Epoch, on the dancers of ADT.

Epoch first premiered in 2016 as part of ADT’s Ignition season. This week our dancers have been training in Erin’s distinctive choreographic vocabulary, with heavy influence from her passion for tantra outside of the dance scene.

A note from Erin on her residency:

“I am thrilled to be joining the ADT again to continue developing my work Epoch. Ignition was such a tremendous experience – so I am excited to have more time with the amazing dancers to continue developing my ideas. I am planning to continue developing a movement vocabulary for the work as well as to delve a little deeper into the themes and ideas I was exploring around our experience of time and repeated patterns in our lives. I am also excited that this development is part of the Festival Centre inSPACE program which will give me further support to develop the work”.

We thank Erin for a great last week in the studios and we look forward to following her work progress further.
